Britta’s Approach

The body-mind-soul connection and a client’s community are crucial components of Britta’s holistic practice. By using values as the compass, curiosity as the fuel, and compassion as the vehicle for growth and change, she offers an approach that expands into all areas of life beyond the therapy space.

Britta may also incorporate Reiki by request.

About Britta

Individual EMDR Therapist
SHE/THEY

Britta has been committed to supporting trauma survivors for over a decade with roots in social justice, community-building, and holistic care. She/They have a ceaseless passion for learning and creating spaces of safety and connection. Britta seeks to co-create a unique therapy experience with adults of all ages and backgrounds.

Body neutrality, anti-oppressive therapy, and disability-affirming care are important issues to Britta as well as honoring each person's cultural context and history. She enjoys helping those who are newly diagnosed, questioning, or exploring their neurodivergent identity to create a fulfilling lifestyle free from shame and full of radical self-acceptance.

She incorporates psychoeducation, EMDR, and somatic healing as clients strengthen their own intuitive, adaptive nature to transform trauma and grow a new future.
