Kara brings warmth, compassion, and a holistic perspective to her work with clients navigating a range of emotional and behavioral challenges. She supports children, young adults, and adults facing concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, personality disorders, and life transitions.
With experience in outpatient therapy, crisis intervention, and community-based care, Kara helps clients build insight, develop coping strategies, and find meaningful, sustainable change. She draws on Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and strengths-based methods to help clients increase self-awareness, improve daily functioning, and feel more empowered in their lives. Kara has experience working in a variety of settings—including individual and group therapy, residential care, community outreach, and mental health crisis care.
