Dani’s Approach
Children rarely sit on a couch and talk through their challenges; they communicate, heal, and make sense of their world through play, imagination, and movement. In Dani’s sessions, therapy doesn't feel clinical or intimidating. By pairing art, tactile tools, sensory processing supports, and child-centered play, Dani meets kids where they are developmentally. Together, they explore healthy emotional regulation, uncover their natural resilience, and build practical tools they can carry back into their homes and classrooms.
About Taylour
Individual EMDR Therapist she/herDani is a National Certified Counselor (NCC). With a Master of Arts in School Counseling and an extensive background in school environments, Dani understands the unique pressures kids face in social dynamics, academic routines, and transitions. She sees every child as whole and capable of making positive change, and she believes every child deserves to feel safe in their own bodies.
Dani uses an integrative approach rooted in play-informed therapy, with strategies from DBT, nature-inspired grounding, and creative expression. Her goal is to create a playful, judgment-free space where young people can be authentic, untangle tough moments, and discover their inner strengths.
Dani views parents and caregivers as essential partners. She collaborates closely with families to ensure that the calming strategies, communication bridges, and emotional growth nurtured in session carry directly into everyday family life.
