ABOUT Tara

T L C is a heart-centered Holistic Practitioner who uses Integrative Bodywork to help re-wire the nervous system & re-pattern any of the body’s dysfunctional safety systems. 

Tara has over 75 hours of direct training in Masgutova’s Neurosensorimotor Reflex Integration (MNRI)® in addition to her certifications in Applied Kinesiology and Advanced Healing Arts. In these arts, Tara focuses on Heart Math and Compassionate-Mindfulness practices. She uses her experience in Speech Language Pathology, her neurological understanding of communication to help her patients re-wire their patterns of self-talk. Tara works with patients of all ages, including pediatric. 

Masgutova’s Neurosensorimotor Reflex Integration (MNRI)®

Founded by Neuroscientist, Svetlana Masgutova, Ph.D in 1989 MNRI is a method of bodywork that helps to organize and calm your nervous system. Using cross-body movements, mirroring, and specific sensory touch to help shift individuals with highly activated nervous systems out of their protected state. This technique is used on children and adults to treat a variety of neurologic, cognitive and mental health disorders. Through MNRI, a patient’s body receives the appropriate input to better allow their nervous system to more easily shift between parasympathetic (safe and sound) and sympathetic (activated) states, thus strengthening your overall emotional regulation. Experience

• 17+ years experience working with autistic children/ASD

• 8 years working as a speech language pathologist (MS CCC-SLP) with both children and seniors/adults

• 7 year of practicing MNRI ®

• 4+ years working with adults’ nervous systems

• 3 years teaching nervous system and movement-focused meditations

• 2 years working in advanced healing arts focusing on HeartMath & Applied Kinesiology
