Rachel’s Approach

Rachel works closely with her clients to build insight and identify strengths, and to develop new skills so that clients experience healthy relationships and self-efficacy. Rachel believes that her clients deserve to feel successful and empowered, so that they may have healthy relationships. It is her goal to help them identify and achieve the changes they are looking for in a gentle, guided, and supportive therapy space.

Rachel has been helping people navigate difficult health and emotional challenges for over 23 years. She works closely with clients to promote both healing and growth. Rachel also enjoys working the family members to improve relational connections and deeper healing. She works closely and collaboratively with her clients, and is passionate about working with a variety of adults, from college-aged to our elders.

Rachel has extensive experience working with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, chronic pain, Personality Disorders, and complex medical issues, using evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialect Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Solutions Focused Therapy, among others. Her clinical focus is person-centered, using trauma-informed, evidence-based best practices to achieve optimal mental health for her clients.
